Warning (1) Do not directly touch the valve body with bare hands, otherwise it may cause burns.

Note (1) Before operation, the shut-off valve in front of the pressure reducing valve should be closed first, and all foreign matter and rust should be removed by bypass, otherwise the pressure reducing valve may malfunction and fail to work normally.

(2) The secondary pressure through the bypass line must be lower than the set pressure. Otherwise, the pressure on the secondary side through the bypass line is higher than the set pressure, causing the safety valve to jump.

(3) When adjusting the pressure, gently move the adjustment screw slowly. Improper adjustment operation may cause water hammer or slamming, which may cause damage to the pressure reducing valve or other equipment.

(4) The condensed water in the pipeline should be completely removed. When not in use for a long time, the stop valves before and after the pressure reducing valve should be closed. (Rust generated in the pipeline may cause malfunction)

(5) For models with a handle, when it is really necessary to perform manual operation, first press the handle and then perform rotation adjustment; at this time, do not use excessive force or rotate too fast to avoid damage to the handle.

When installing, pay attention to the following points:

(1) When the valve is used in a gas or low-viscosity liquid medium, usually the ZZY self-operating pressure regulating valve is installed upright on a horizontal pipe, and it is inverted when the space is not allowed.

(2) When the valve is used in steam or high viscosity liquid medium, usually the ZZY self-operated pressure regulating valve is installed on the horizontal pipe upside down. The condenser (self-operated for steam) should be lower than the actuator of the pressure regulator Take over before and after the valve. The condenser should be filled with cold water before use, and once every 3 months.

(3) The pressure taking point should be taken at an appropriate position of the pressure regulating valve, and the pressure regulating after the valve should be greater than 6 times the pipe diameter.

(4) In order to facilitate on-site maintenance and operation, appropriate space should be left around the pressure regulating valve.

(5) When the medium is clean gas or liquid, the pre-valve filter may not be installed.

(6) The diameter of the pressure regulating valve is too large (when DN≥100), it should have a fixed bracket.

(7) When it is confirmed that the medium is clean, the filter may not be installed.

(8) When the position is really not allowed, the bypass valve (manual) can be omitted (we do not recommend).

(9) The user can choose check valve, safety valve, etc.

(10) The self-operated valve can be smaller than the diameter of the pipeline according to the calculated diameter, while the stop valve or shut-off ball valve, bypass valve, and filter cannot be smaller than the diameter of the pipeline.

 

     ZZYP自力式蒸汽减压阀 压力调整步骤 [ ZZYP self-operated steam pressure reducing valve ] Pressure adjustment steps

Follow the steps below to slowly turn the adjustment screw to complete the setting. Improper adjustment operation may cause water hammer or slamming, etc., which may cause damage to the pressure reducing valve or other equipment.

(1) Close the shut-off valves at the front and back of the pressure reducing valve. Under the condition that the safety valve does not jump, open the bypass line shut-off valve and keep it for a sufficient time to complete the removal of foreign bodies or rust layers in the pipeline using the circulating medium . After the purge is complete, close the bypass line shutoff valve.

(2) Slowly open the shut-off valve installed in front of the pressure reducing valve, and adjust the opening degree of the shut-off valve after the pressure reducing valve to maintain a small flow through the pipeline.

(3) Loosen the lock nut, slowly turn the adjusting screw, and observe the pressure gauge behind the valve until the required setting is planted (clockwise rotation pressure rises, counterclockwise rotation pressure drops). For models with handles, since the handle is in the self-locking position under normal conditions, when adjusting the pressure, you should first press the handle, release the self-lock, and then slowly turn the adjustment screw, and observe the nearest pressure gauge behind the valve until required. (When the handle is turned clockwise, the pressure behind the valve increases; when the handle is turned counterclockwise, the pressure behind the valve decreases.)

(4) Cut off the valve after slowly opening the pressure reducing valve, and follow the steps

(3) Further adjust the pressure after the valve until the required setting is planted.

(5) After adjusting, tighten the lock nut. For models with a handle, pull out the handle and use the internal device to lock it; if the handle is not locked, turn the handle left or right to complete the self-locking action.
